What a great theme for a photo challenge because it can be interpreted in so many ways and we are surrounded by different textures everywhere. I immediately thought about a couple of pictures which I took while I travelled through New Zealand last year. I was so fascinated by the nature and its beauty. So here is a small collection of different textures like tree bark, solidified lava and sulphuric sediments. Hope you enjoy this entry.
Weekly Photo Challenge: Textures
“This week, share a texture found in an unexpected place. It could be made of natural materials, as in these images, or with man-made objects.”
Nice selections, particularly that tree bark.
All wonderful photos, but I especially love the textures and patterns in the tree bark. Amazing!
Such a great selection of photos for this week’s challenge. Love the tree bark one and the green moss lining it – so fuzzy 🙂 Those sea shells reminds me of clams, yum yum. Looks like you saw a lot of nature in New Zealand 🙂
So funny that you all like the tree bark. Shall I tell you something: it’s also my favourite one 🙂 I love the pattern on it.
I can barely refrain from reaching out and touching your vivid photos in the hopes i could actuall;y feel them. Lovely shots.
