Weekly Poto Challenge: Zig Zag

“For this week’s challenge, share with us your own take on zigging and zagging. It can be a winding path, the Herringbone pattern on your coat, a scar: any jagged line that tells a story.”

Barcelona is not only a colourful City, it’s also famous for it’s architecture. Many artists lived in Barcelona and they shaped to the contemporary cityscape. Like the building on the picture there are a handful of houses with a Zig Zag front.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Relic

“Share a photo of what “relic” means to you — it could be your still-running 1979 Honda Accord Hatchback, an historic building in your town, or an old, rusted farm implement poking up through the long grass in a field.”

When I read the topic for this week’s photo challenge the ‘Berlin Wall Memorial’ popped up in my mind. Located in the middle of the city in Bernauer Straße it’s one of the most visited places in Berlin. Many tourists come here every day to walk along the 1.4 km of the former border strip. Here is a picture of a watch tower and the view behind the wall on the preserved ground.

If you would like to see more pictures have a look on my Berlin page 🙂

Weekly Photo Challenge: Between

I had a great idea in my mind for this week’s photo challenge. I wanted to take a picture from an old couple who are married for ages and still love each other like on the first day. True love between a man and a woman! But unfortunately I couldn’t find a couple to photograph. I suppose it is very difficult to find a happy old couple sitting on a bench in a park holding hands in a city like Berlin.

Instead I had to seek for another picture which suits the topic. Maybe I’ll find a couple within the next days .. I keep my eyes open 😉

Weekly Photo Challenge: Between

This is my contribution this week: a church tower between a row of houses. I took this picture in Rome. Hope you like it 🙂
