Hey there, my name is Anja and I’m a 28-year old nutrionist living in Berlin. After my return from New Zealand last summer I really wanted to try something new. So I started running and kept on going with it and it always gives me great feeling. Last year I ran 13 km in my hometown and was very proud of it. My goal this year is the Berlin halfmarathon in March – so wish me luck. Then I started indoor-climbing which is also a lot of fun.
For the new year I needed a new project – something which has nothing to do with sport. I wrote a blog about my time and my travelings in New Zealand, so why shouldn’t I start a new one just about me, my life and my interests to share it with others. “Just give it a try” I told myself. So this is my new project. If I will succeed with it? We’ll see 🙂
PS: As far as I can see most of the Blogs are written in English so I’m going to write in English as well because it’s good for myself to improve my language skills. So I hope you don’t mind if there are any mistakes or when my writing is just very simple. Any advice is welcomed. You can also contact me via email: anja.bensch@gmx.de

Thanks so much for following my blog, Oh, the Places We See. I love reading about other countries, even dreaming that one day I’ll get to all of them! But the fun of following blogs is that you can live vicariously. Best wishes for more success! http://ohtheplaceswesee.com

Anja, wanted to let you know that I’ve nominated you for the Very Inspiring Award, one of 15 bloggers that “make me come back for more!” I appreciate your perspective of a world I have never visited (other than being born in West Berlin, that is). Here’s the link to learn more about the award: http://transitlens.com/2014/10/07/very-inspiring-blogger-award-nomination/.
Hi Celia, thanks a lot for the nomination. I’m very honoured and struggle to find the right words. That’s my first nomination for a blogger award. When I started to write this blog I never thought that people could be interested in what I do or in my photographs. That’s why I’m very grateful for people like you who follow my blog and who like what I do. So thanks again 🙂
You are quite welcome, Anja. Isn’t it amazing how small the world is?! ☺
